horses), reading, and hanging out with her family and friends.
When asked why she wanted to be the Jr. Queen, Raimee said, “I
want to represent Newcastle in a sport that I love. I enjoy
meeting new people not only in our community, but also in other
places that I may go. I want to spend as much time with my
horse while we are learning new things and show other people
what can be accomplished between an animal and human when they
are connected by care and respect for each other.”
Raimee’s definition of a rodeo queen is “a girl who will
represent her town, state and country in the sport of rodeo.
She needs to care about the people and animals that she will
meet, and make their happiness her concern.” Raimee feels that
a rodeo queen’s love for her horse will set her apart from just
the average person. |

they live in. I would like to be one of those girls that can talk
to people, make them laugh, and also demonstrate my
horsemanship…that is awesome in my eyes. I would love to be the
next Miss Rodeo Weston County Princess.”
Bailey’s definition of a rodeo queen is someone who is “outgoing, a
good rider, strong spirited, and always smiling. A rodeo queen
isn’t just a rodeo queen, she is a role model and many people are

present herself as a hero and try to meet the expectations of those
looking up to her.” |
